## Abstract

&nbsp; Motorcycles are a means of transportation that is widely used by everyone to facilitate their activities. To get the condition of the vehicle to remain prime then the service is a necessity that must be done by every user of the vehicle. Servicing is done by serving customers who come early first. Queue becomes one of the obstacles that often occur in a series of operational activities that are random when providing services to customers in a service facility. Constraints faced make the lack of regular services provided, so that will impact on the lack of convenience of services received by customers. For that the pit with adequate equipment to support the work will be relatively faster. This research is a descriptive research, Namely research conducted to obtain valid data test results in the form of numbers which then describe the data in the form of a sentence that is easy to read, Understood and interpresented. The purpose of this study is to determine the capacity of the number of pit that is operated while doing the work in Honda AHASS 1463 Kebonsari Surabaya workshop. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done waiting costs of Rp 69,741 / unit time and average service time for 31 minutes, So it can be determined C1 Rp6.250 / jam and C2 Rp.136.747,05 / hour. Based on the results of the analysis to calculate the optimal number of pits in the table obtained the equation value of 0.045 is between k-4 and k-5 with k-4 0.06 and k-5 is 0.03. If k-4 Ls = 1.15 and k-5 Ls = 1.12 then taken at the lowest average of waiting customers is k-5, so the customer does not lose the cost of waiting too much and the number of queues too much. So it can be concluded that the optimal pit number (k) = 5 units.&nbsp; Keywords : optimal pit, number of subscribers, service time
