The background of this study is the low of learning result of the sixth graders in scient studies that is caused by the teacher only implement a speech method so the student are difficult to applied the knowledge in a real life.The purposes of this action research was the student learning results after applied problem based instruction model. The data were obtained from the test and observation, they were analyzed by the use of percentage. The result of data analysis showed the learning success in the first cycle 67,74% and in the second cycle got increase became 87,10 % of learning completion. So it's proved that problem based instruction model can increase of the student learning results.
