In the initation process of three tropical watercolors pattern design implementation of scarf using digital printing application.. The research purpose to know the finished result, the Tropical theme which was three types of design flora, fauna, and flora-fauna to reveal the pattern that has the best result by scoring with the aspects, such as: rhytm aspect, unity aspect, proportion aspect, balance aspect, and centre of interest aspect. This study is a quantitave descriptive study. Descriptive study is a method of study that tries to capture and intemperate the object based on its real condition. In this study, the writer choose 35 observers, which are 5 lecturers of design and 30 students of design that have taken art and design subject in their program. The analysis of this study used the average of each scoring aspect from the design. Based on the average from the whole  scoring aspects, it was found that the flora-fauna patterns became the best design based on the highest average score (3,36), and it was categorized as “very good” criteria. The flora pattern was in the second place with the average score 3,33, and it was categorized as “good” criteria, and fauna pattern was in the third place with average score 3,19 and it was also categorized as “good” criteria.
