This research has not been backed by the availability of learning devices in the form of modules with competencies that are specifically used for studying the process of painting vehicles. While the learning methods applied are still conventional in nature where knowledge-based field combined with the teaching and learning process are still not systematically arranged. Therefore, we develop learning modules designed to support innovative competence in the process of painting the vehicles as well as practical guidance. This type of research is research development with a research subject undergraduate students who have Automotive PTM program the vehicle painting technology courses in the semester even 2017/2018. Model used in the development of this module is a 4-D Model. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive method. Research instrument used to collect the data validation module sheet is now student response, as well as pre-test and post-test. Based on the results of the research that has been done is invalidated the results of the validity of expert lecturers of 3.94 with categories is quite valid. Student response amounted to 87% strongly agree with categories. Whereas the results of a study of college students has increased by an average percentage of 52%.
