Cooling system in a vehicle system that serves to keep the vehicle temperature to remain stable. Damage cooling system or less optimal cooling system function will have an overheating effect in which the engine will quickly heat up so that it can cause the engine quickly damaged and cause the life of the oil becomes shorter. Oil cooling system is a cooling system that uses oil cooler media as an oil cooler. engine oil is inside the engine cooled by passing the oil cooler grille and then returned to the cylinder head or to the engine. oil cooling system is able to keep the oil temperature to remain stable to keep the lubrication system remains maximal and does not affect the performance of motorcycle engines. The experimental research is aimed to find out how much influence of oil cooler application to oil temperature and engine performance on Mega Pro motorcycle 2011. The method of testing machine performance using full open throttle valve method based on SAE J1349 testing standard. Material fuel used premium, oil type used federal super xx oil with SAE 10W - 30. Oil cooler used is oil cooler Satria Fu 150 fin type. Research equipment and instrument used are chassis dynamometer, fuel meter and stopwatch. Data analysis using descriptive method.Based on test, oil cooler works effectively when the engine speed 7000 rpm because it can reduce engine oil temperature up to 13 º C, but the torque decreased by 0.43%, power decreased by 1.22%, the average effective pressure decreased by 1.15%, fuel consumption increased by 5.34%.
