Based on results of interviews and observations, the result of learning in class X TKR 1 at the subjects basic work of automotive engineering is not maximized. This can be seen from the value of students who achieve KKM new 28%in the first semester of 2016/2017. In addition, the ability of collaboration and students response in class is still low, these things happen because of the 2013 curriculum has not been fully applied. it is necessary the implementation of a learning approach which according to theory is able to enhance the ability of collaboration, learning outcomes and student responses. This research type is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is sikluistis. Population in this research is all students of class X TKR 1 SMKN 1 Kalianget totaling 33 students. The instrument used in this study in the form of a test sheet, observation sheets and sheets of questionnaire. The results showed that the ability of the collaboration of learners is very good. The learning outcomes of students increased with the good category. As well as the results of students responses categorized better.
