Abstract

Teaching and learning activities on electrical subjects centered solely on the role of educators led to seemingly conventional learning. Due to the liveliness of learners tend to be low and quickly bored, thus affecting the learners learning outcomes. The development of this module aims to motivate student learning to process learning activities more effectively so as to improve student learning outcomes that tend to be low. This research method refers to the development of 4-D model which has four stages is difine (Define), Design (Planning), Develop (Development), Disseminate (Spread), but in research development of this module researchers do not use Disseminate stages. The subjects of the study were students of Class XII TKR SMKN 1 Jatirejo who followed the Electric Subject. The research instrument is used to collect data in the form of module validation questionnaire The result of validation data analysis is done to find out the level of module of car lighting system that produced The results of the study module utilizing the practice of Automotive Power Automotive Lighting System is feasible to use in learning subjects Automotive Electrical practice. Module validation results by lecturers (Competence competence, Language competence and Design competencies) earn an average of 3.6, in which the percentage if interpreted on a Likert Scale falls within criteria is very feasible. The result of student activeness conducted by observer 1 observer 2 and observer 3 gets average 3.4, where the result obtained is very active criteria and supported with first stage learning result which does not use percentage value module not yet fulfill the criterion with the mean value 40, in the second stage get an average score of 77 and this stage has increased, This proves there is an increase in learning outcomes in grade XII students majoring in Light Vehicle Engineering SMKN 1 Jatirejo.
