Abstract

This activity aims to introduce and improve numeracy skills related to addition and reduction operations for elementary school students through Congklak games. We use five to eight game holes to see the speed and accuracy of students in calculating the number of stones that will be moved to each hole. After the game ends, all participants must add the stones obtained as the score, then reduce the scores between participants to determine who will be the winner. Based on the results of this activity, students were enthusiastic during the play, as well as their increased ability to carry out addition and reduction operations, the results they obtained.
