Western secularization has given birth to a paradigm that science is dichotomous, so that this concerns some Muslim scientists because religious understanding of science should be integral, then the integralization of science is a revolutionary step and at the same time answers to secularization. Integralization of science seeks to harmonize religious values with scientific inventions and dialogue between revelation and reason. The characteristic that is brought about in this concept is that science is not released from the existence of God so that science is used as a field in getting closer to God and scientific discoveries lead to appreciation of the existence of the Supreme God. The effort to integralize this knowledge is the responsibility of Islamic educational institutions by removing dichotomous barriers. And one of the things that can be done in a concrete form is the effort to convert Islamic educational institutions from one form to another, namely one of them is the conversion of IAIN to UIN.
