An understanding of children with disabilities or in developmental psychologyknown as developmental psychopathology includes the origin, alterations andcontinuity of disability behaviors throughout the life span. Lots of responsesthat appear related to factors that affect a child's development so classified asnonnormatif. Some influencing factors are biological and environmentalfactors, including permanent development aberrations. Some techniques thatcan be used to identify a child experiencing nonnormative development or notare by conducting interviews, using questionnaires and observations. Optimaldata collection may have to be objective, because the results obtained willdetermine the way a child lives until the end of their lives.
