This article aims to compare the differences in the Polya procedure and the Newman Procedure in solving mathematical problems. The methodology used is literature review and comparison table. Based on the results of the study, there are at least four differences that can be compared from the two procedures, namely: 1) number of procedures, 2) sequence/hierarchy of procedures, 3) differences in terms, and 4) difference in the final stage.
