Abstract

Background: Integrated Health Services Post (Posyandu) provides maternal and child health services at the community level. It is expected to have indirect impact on the reduction of maternal mortality rate and infant mortality rate. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between community participation and stakeholder support in the implementation of integrated health service post in Wonogiri, Central Java.
Subjects and Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted in Wonogiri, Central Java. A total of 60 Posyandu cadres was selected for this study. The independent variables were community participation and stakeholder support. The dependent variable was the implementation of Posyandu. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by chi-square.
Results: Community participation and stakeholder support affected with the implementation of Posyandu.
Conclusion: Community participation and stakeholder support have an important role in the implementation of Posyandu.
