The problems of Good Corporate Governance/GCG in Indonesia have wide responses, to some extent of its aplications, from the divergent parties of both theorists and practitioners those are both in the government or the private sectors. For instance, the policy of Badan Usaha Milik Negara/BUMN Nomor Kep-117/M-MBU/2002 on the application of Good Corporate Governance to the state commercial institution (BUMN), the formation of Corporate Governance committee, and banking legal codes. The prevailing corrupt cases, however, take place towards both the state or private commercial institutions such as banking. It is necessary to take into account and settle the problems of GCG in which the the entire parties of varied disciplines are involved. This paper thus point out the Islamic ethics in terms of global concept of GCG nowadays and treat the issue how to practice it that spreads over the different places in the Koran and the prophetic tradition in order to be integrated prior to the context of Indonesia
