In the article a developed system for measuring the distance to an object from its stereo image is presented. A brief description of the purpose of the system and its operation algorithm is described. The results of the system work at each stage of the algorithm are shown. In addition, experimental studies of the accuracy of the distance measuring of the system were carried out, on the basis of which the limitations of the system application were discussed.
