The study aims to look at effect of learing problem solving models with the use of phet simulations on student learning outcomes in cognitive domain. This types of research uses Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The procedures in this study include the preparation, instrument validation, pretest, treatment, posttest, and data management. The population of this research is all of XI Mia's class. The sample in this study is class XI Mia 2 as an experimental class and class XI Mia 1 as a control class using the Random Sampling Technique. Data from this study were obtained from the posttest questions. The result obtained showed that the average results of the experimental class was 74,35 with a percentage of completeness of 74% while in control class an avarage of 63,84 with a percentage of completeness of 38% of students. Analysis of the effect of problem solving models using the use of phet simulations on student learning outcomes is done by t-test, the results obtained tcount > ttable with tcount = 3.7805 and ttable = 0,679. Based on the results of these data obtained that the influence of the model problem solving with the use of phet simulations on student learing outcomes.
