Seasonal vegetables and fruit plants
Seasonal vegetables plants are plants which contained of vitamin, mineral salt, etc, and consumed from part of plant in the form of leaf, flower, fruit and root with the age of less than one year.
Seasonal fruits plants are plants which contained of vitamin, mineral salt, etc, and consumed from the part of plant in the form of fruits. These plants are creeps with the age of less than one year.
Annual fruit and vegetable plants
Annual fruits plants are plants as source of vitamin, contained mineral salt, etc, which are consumed from part of the plant in the form of fruits and more than one year of age.
Annual vegetable plants are plants as source of vitamin, contained mineral salt, etc, which are consumed from part of the plant in the form of vegetable and more than one year of age.
Medicinal plants are plants which are useful for medicine. It is consumed from part of the plants, either in the form of leaf, flower, fruit, tubber or root.
Ornamental plants are plants which have a beauty value, either in shape, colour of leaf, crown of flower, and they are often used as a yard decorator.
Harvested area is vegetable, fruit, medicinal and ornamental plant of crop being harvested for period of report.
Harvested area of vegetables: entirely plant harvested/ demolished and plant harvested several times/undemolished.
Entirely plant harvested/demolished are the plant usually harvested once and demolished to be substituted by other plants, consist of : shallots, garlic, leeks, potato, cabbage, cauli flower, mustard green, carrots, chinese radish and red kidney beans.
Plant harvested several times/undemolished are plant usually harvested more than once and being demolished after the harvested is economically not profitable, consist of : yard long beans, chili, small chili, mushroom, tomatoes, egg plant, frech beans, cucumber, pumpkin/chajota, swamp cabbage, spinach, melon, watermelon and blewah .
Production is the standard production quantity form of vegetable, fruit, medicinal and ornamental plant based on harvested area reported monthly / quarterly.
Horticulture data collection is performed by the Head of Regency/City Agriculture Branch Office or Data Collector Officer by using the Eye Estimate Methods. The data is collected using District Register Form dan Horticulture Survey Form. This data collection is the duty of Regency/City Office. The examination of completeness and validity of Horticulture Survey Form Stuffing is performed by Regency/City Agriculture Office. The result is submitted to Regency/City Statistics Office to be processed. Data validation is performed in registering and processing result syncronization forum at province and national level.
