Healthcare providers have the function of organizing medical services, development of administration and financial implemented by medical record and service unit. Therefore, hospital should give a positive direction to achieve organization goals and employees' job satisfaction. The expectation is influenced by the work environment and motivation. This study aimed to analyze the influence of physical work environment (temperature and humidity), non-physical work environment (relationship among employees, relationship between employees and leaders) and motivation for job satisfaction in the medical record and service unit at Banjarbaru Hospital in 2015. The research design was crosssectional through observational approach. The sample was 32 people. The research applied devices for measuring temperature and humidity, and questionnaires for motivation and job satisfaction assessment. The results revealed that humidity and temperature factors influence job satisfaction significantly. The influence of non-physical work environment on satisfaction was at p-value of 0.017, and the influence of motivation on job satisfaction was at p-value of 0.035. The study concluded that temperature, humidity, motivation and non-physical work environment were the factors of job satisfaction.
