The incidence of HIV/AIDS is a global problem that is still unresolved, including in Banjarbaru, Indonesia. The highest cases occurred in the age group of 20-49 years indicating they are already HIV positive adolescence (15-25 years). The cause of the high incidence of HIV/AIDS among adolescents is influenced by many things including their lack of knowledge about HIV/AIDS. This study aims to determine the effect of counseling to the knowledge and attitude on Banjarbaru Midwife Academy Students. This study uses a quantitative method with pre-experimental research design. A total sample of 40 people taken by quota sampling. The results show the number of students who have good knowledge increased after being given counseling, from 35% to 70%. In addition, the number of students who have a good attitude after being given counseling increased, from 87.5% to 100%. The conclusion of this study is counseling about HIV/AIDS can affect Banjarbaru Midwife Academy Students' knowledge and attitude by 4.206 and 4.206 times, respectively.
