Fatty liver is a term applied to wide spectrum of conditions characterized hispatologically by trigliseride accumulation within the cytoplasm of hepatocytes which is examined using ultrasound. This study was aimed to identify the risk factors affecting fatty liver in the patients with breast cancer on ultrasound examination at Dharmais Cancer Hospital Jakarta. The design was a cross sectional study with 70 subjects, consisted of 37 fatty liver subjects and 33 normal subjects. The result showed that risk factors of fatty liver in patient with breast cancer were overweight and obesity (Body Mass Index ?25 kg/m2) (OR : 5.5, 95%CI : 1.881 16.243) and high frequency of dietary fat (OR: 3.8, 95%CI : 1.084 13.445).
