Kemampuan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah, Iklim Sekolah Dan Mutu Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan belum optimalnya mutu sekolah. Adapun permasalahan yang ingin dipecahkan adalah pengaruh Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Ngamprah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah dan mutu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Ngamprah, serta menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruhnya baik secara parsial maupun simultan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, jenis penelitian survey dan analisis regresi yang dilakukan pada 48 sekolahdengan 585 guru dan 48 kepala sekolah.Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 sekolah dengan 30 kepala sekolah dan 378 guru yang diambil berdasarkan Proportionate stratified random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data, ditemukan bahwa Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah, dan mutu sekolah pada sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Ngamprah berada pada katagori sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah, iklim sekolah berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah, dan secara bersama-sama Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah. Kemampuan Manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah menjadi faktor penting yang harus dibangun dalam upaya pencapaian mutu sekolah, terutama pada aspek controlling, aspek iklim kesehatan sekolah, dan aspek output.This study explain about the quality of school that is not optimal, The problems that will be solved are the influence of the principal's Managerial Ability and the school climate toward the school quality of elementary schools in Kecamatan Ngamprah. The aim of this study is to know the description of the principal's Managerial Ability, the school climate and the school quality of elementary schools in Kecamatan Ngamprah, and analyzing how much the influence either partially or simultaneously. The approach used in this study is quantitative approach with descriptive method with survey and use correlation and regression analysis. The population is 48 schools with 585 teachers and 48 principal. The sample used is 30 schools with 30 principals and 378 teachers that were selected by Proportionate stratified random sampling. Based on the data processing and data analysis, the researcher found that the principal's managerial ability, the school climate, and the school quality of elementary schools in Kecamatan Ngamprah are at very high category. Result of research show that the principal's managerial ability positively and significantly influential toward the school quality and the school climate positively and significantly influential toward the school quality, and together with the principal's managerial ability and the school climate, positively and significantly influential toward the school quality.The principal's managerial ability and the school climate become an important factor that needs to be developed in the efforts to achieve the school quality, especially in the aspect of controlling, healthy school climate, and output
