: Local Economic Development in the Agricultural Sector. Local economic development (LED) is a process by which local governments and organization involved to encourage communities, stimulate, nurture, business activity to create jobs. Performances in their own districts to create new jobs and boost the economy of local economic development concept is also implemented. The purpose of this study is to describe what is being done by the government in developing the local economy, what is the enabling and inhibiting factors in developing the local economy and how the impact of the local economic development. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. Collection techniques used include using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Results of the study indicate that local economic development in the District of performances which have a positive impact with the development of the local economy is creating new jobs thus improving the economy around.
