Abstract

: Strategy of Creating SMEs Climate in the Creative Indutries Batik Tulis (Study on Dinas Koperasi, Industri, dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Kediri). The economic crisis led to many large-scale enterprises has stagnated even stop their activities, but the SME sector proved to be more resilent in the face of the crisis. Kabupaten Kediri is one area that has a number of SMEs which are many and varied. Until December 2014, there were 14.744 SMEs spread throughout the district of Kediri. One potential area that is large enough to develop creative industries batik tulis. Kediri is claimed that the motive jaranan (kuda lumping) and manga podang as a motif typical of the region. There are 19 batik artisans in Kabupaten Kediri, but are considered productive only about 10 artisans. It shows the existing business climate can not develop properly.Seeing this, the researcher wanted to know the strategies used by the Dinas Koperasi, Industri, dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Kediri in creating a climate of SMEs in the creative industries batik tulis as well as the factors that influence it.
