Abstract

The purpose of this research was to explain the effect of the employees job promotion on the employees work motivation at PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Jatim Selatan Malang, to explain the effect of the employees job promotion on the employees work performance at PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Jatim Selatan Malang, and to explain the effect of the employees work motivation on the employees work performance at PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Jatim Selatan Malang. This research was an explanatory research using quantitative approach. The number of samples in this research were 55 respondents that consisted of PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Jatim Selatan Malang employees who have ever been promoted. The researcher used probability sampling technique: proportionate random sampling. Meanwhile, the data collection methods used in this research were questionnaire and documentation. The method of data analysis were descriptive statistic analysis and path analysis. This research indicated that the employees job promotion had a significant effect on the employees work motivation. The employees job promotion had a significant effect on the employees work performance. The employees work motivation had a significant effect on the employees work performance.
