Abstract

Employees as a major resource companies are required to provide the best services to provide optimal performance. This study focuses only on one cause of stress, namely the factors causing stress in the organization (organizational stressor). It is important for PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk Witel South East Java Malang to meet the needs of employees and create a comfortable work so as to minimize the onset of stress at work. With a strong commitment which is owned by the employees will have an impact on performance improvement. Based on the analysis path that has been done, it is known that organizational stressors and significant negative effect on organizational commitment. This is evidenced by t_hitung value of -6.950 and a probability of 0.000 (p <0.05). Organizational stressors and significant negative effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by t_hitung value of -2.492 and a probability of 0.016 (p <0.05). Organizational commitment and significant positive effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by t_hitung value of 3.331 and a probability of 0.002 (p <0.05). It can be concluded that the higher organizational commitment that employees, it can reduce the occurrence of stressors that impact organizational performance improvement.
