Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant influence of work motivation on organizational commitment, determine the significant influence of work motivation on employee performance, determine the significant influence of organizational commitment on employee performance. This research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. Population in this study are all employees of Bank BRI branch Kawi, Malang, amounting to 167 employees. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling. The number of samples determined by the Slovin formula and obtained a total sample of 63 employees. This study uses path analysis with the help of SPSS 21.0 software. The result showed that work motivation has significant influence on organizational commitment with 0,266 path coefficients value and 0.035 t significance. Work motivation has significant influence on employee perfomance with 0,255 path coefficients value and 0.035 t significance. Organization commitment has significant influence on employee performance with 0,326 path coefficients value and 0.008 t significance. Based on the path analysis we can conclude organizational commitment mediate motivation work to employee performance have a significant effect. Advice that given by the author for the company is the company should increase employee motivation by building a sense of organizational commitment of employees.
