Abstract

The research goal are to examine influences of leadership style on work discipline. This research is explanatory research and use quantitative method. Seventy five sample has been taken from Employee of PT PLN (persero) Malang Service Area. Research results shows that both task behavior and relationship behavior variable simultaneously influence on employee work discipline, it can be seen from significant value of F < α, 0 < 0,05 and R square value in 0,475. It`s equivalent as 47,5% of task behavior and relationship behavior variable contributed on employee work discipline while the rest of 52,5% is influenced by others variable that did not use as variable in this research. In partially results, task behavior variable has significant influences against work discipline employee as big 0,000 < 0,05 and had coefficient value (Beta) 0,440 while relationship behavior has significant influences against work discipline employee as big 0,000 < 0,05 and had coefficient value (Beta) 0,369.
