Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of education and work experience on work capability and employee performance. This research uses an explanatory research method with quantitative approach. The sample of this research is 269 employees at PT. INKA (Persero). Data is analyzed using path analysis that is assisted with SPSS for Windows version 23. Based on path analysis result, it can be concluded that the Education variable (X1) influenced but it is not significant on Work Capability variable (Y1) with value of beta coefficient is 0.057 and Work Experience variable (X2) significantly influence Work Ability variable (Y1) with value of beta coefficient is 0.709. While the Education variable (X1) significantly influence Employee Performance variable (Y2) with value of beta coefficient is 0.224 and Work Experience variable (X2) significantly influence Employee Performance variable (Y2) with value of beta coefficient is 0.259. Furthermore, Work Ability variable (Y1) significantly influence Employee Performance variable (Y2) with value of beta coefficient is 0.280.
