The weaknessess of understanding dan awareness about the importance of sustainable development not merely happened on the level of low class society, but also on the moderate and high level class, even high educationed person. It is believed that the ecolyteration played a strategic role in developing the ecologycal awareness in order to reach sustainable development for educational process, especially for undergraduate student. The aim of this study was to analize theÂ effectivity of ecolyteration in developing the knowledge, attitude and manner of training Â collage students about education for sustainable development on the basis of local agriculture.Â This research was using quasi experiment method, the design used was one group pretest-postest. The technique of collecting data was using questioner, interview and observation.Â The result showed that the avarage incresement of knowledge is 28,26, which is three times higher from the value of its benchmark (8.06), attitude, 31.00 which is three times higher than its benchmark Â (12.06) and manner, 43,33 which is three times higher than its benchmark. Â The conclusion of this research supported the former reseach stated that ecolyteration is effectiveÂ to developÂ the knowledge, attitude and manner about education for sustainable development on the basis of local agriculture, and it needs to be socialized not only on the undergraduate students but also on the whole of the society, in order to keep the sustainable development program.
