- Every job has risks and hazards that can cause accidents,. Efforts that can be done to minimize the risk and impact as a result of workplace accidents is the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when entering the work area. But sometimes without a watchful eye, the use of PPE is often overlooked by workers with reason inconvenience. To handle this required a system model that can identify the use of PPE standards. The model proposed in this study is a digital image acquisition for the identification and analysis of the suitability of the standard use of PPE by using GLCM (Gray Level Co-occurence Matrix) and Euclidean Distance. The accuracy level of the identification proses varies depending on the PPE worn condition. Accuracy with conditions using all PPE (standar) is 88%, not use the cap is 73%, not use glasses is 63 not use masks and only using the mask 80%, only use the glasses 86%, just use the cap 83%, and the condition not use all the PPE have an accuracy of 90%. This study found that the light conditions greatly affect the test results.
