Perilaku Konsumen: Hedonisme dalam Perspektif Islam

Abstract

Hedonism is a veiled enemy of the economy. the existence of hedonism in society will certainly have an impact on selfishness in consumers. therefore, the attitude of hedonism must be avoided. to limit the egoism Islam teaches its people to prioritize mashlahah. in contrast to hedonism, mashlahah has measurable parameters. the concept of protecting wealth, self, religion, family and intellectuals will certainly be a barrier to selfishness. in this study the author will explain the existence of hedonism in consumer behavior in the Islamic view. This research is a descriptive analysis. As for the results obtained is, Islam forbids the existence of an attitude of hedonism but Islam encourages the attitude of promoting mashlahah. Keyword: Hedonism, Consumer Behavior, and Mashlahah.
