Yayasan Kemaslahatan Ummat is a non-profit organization engaged in the field of community empowerment and humanity. Founded in Banda Aceh in 2008 after the December 2004 earthquake-tsunami disaster in Aceh, YKU aims to increase the independence of the community in facing increasingly hard economic and social problems in the 21st century and into the future.
