Abstract

In a company employee performance is areal attitude shown by everyone as the resulting performance in accordance with their respective roles. Performance is a result of work achieved in executing the tasks assigned to them based on the skills, experience and since rityas well as time. While the performance appraisal is the process used by the company/organization to evaluate the individual work of employees. XYZ is aprivate company that is engaged in the field of telecommunications services, the process of determining the performance of employees in XYZ was done once a year based on several criteria, but the calculation is not using a special method and then there are mistakes in the process of calculating and determining the thre sholds each of the criteria that determinethe performance of its employees.This study aims to apply the method of gauging absence of prerequisites (GAP) in the process of assessing the performance of the PT. XYZ. With GAP method can asses show much distance between the actual performance with the standard value of the expected performance and to determine the need for increased performance required.
