Disputes are common in the business world. The same thing happened in the insurance industry, the insurance agreement uses terminology that is generally only understood by insurance businesses, including disclosure of material facts, express and implied warranty, etc. The Indonesian Insurance Mediation and Arbitration Agency (BMAI), a legal entity in the form of an independent and impartial Society, provides services for dispute settlement claims (demands for compensation or benefits) of insurance between its members, namely the Insurance Company and the Insured or Policy Holder. The BMAI seeks to resolve disputes in insurance claims more quickly, fairly, cheaply and informally. This study aims to determine the Insurance Dispute Settlement Process in the BMAI and the nature of the results or decisions made by the BMAI. The type of research used is descriptive analysis. The focus of this writing includes the Dispute Resolution Process through Mediation, Adjudication and Arbitration at the BMAI. The type and source of data used are secondary data. Data collection techniques used are library research by collecting data obtained from reading and understanding books, literature, and regulations that relevant to the issues discussed.
